Peshawar News: In a striking declaration, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi stated that the natural beauty of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) southern districts outshines even that of Switzerland. At a high-profile ceremony organized by Faisal Hills Islamabad in Peshawar, the Governor expressed confidence that regions like Waziristan could become global tourist hubs—if peace and investment prevail.
“People will forget Switzerland when they witness the untouched landscapes of southern KP,” said Governor Kundi. He stressed that Waziristan and neighboring areas hold immense potential, which instability currently hinders only. He also noted a shift in investment patterns, revealing that many Pashtun investors now favor cities like Islamabad over Kabul, indicating a renewed faith in Pakistan’s stability. He encouraged developers to initiate projects that reflect modern infrastructure and community needs.
The event concluded with traditional turban honors for key guests—a cultural gesture marking a unified commitment to KP’s future. As Governor Kundi boldly put it, with the right focus, KP’s districts can soon rival not just Switzerland but the world.
